Brian Siegel, Managing Director

With over 17 US patents issued, 17 more filed, and 20 years of executive leadership in some of the world’s largest technology and digital commerce entities, Brian is industry veteran with the experience, work ethic, and drive to constantly improve and evolve with his business partners.

In 2000, Brian was on the very small team that led Sony’s entry into the direct-to-consumer business ecommerce business.  He played many roles in his 12 years at Sony Direct, including running the entire business unit and growing Sony to be the 8th largest eCommerce store (2008).  Outside of Sony’s ecommerce, Brian also led Sony’s largest US TV product business units – Television and Home Audio Video.  Under his leadership, Sony grew their profit and obtained #1 market share in Blu-Ray.  Brian also managed Sony’s entry into the Google TV market, as well as overseeing the launch of 4K televisions in the US market.

Seeing an opportunity to grow another technology segment, Brian took leadership over Lenovo’s North America Consumer Sales efforts.  In his three years in this role, Lenovo grew from #6 market share to #2 and saw revenues increase by hundreds of millions of dollars.  Not a typical Sales leader, Brian achieved these results through working closely with the largest retailers in the United States to improve supply chain, inventory turns, and leveraging Lenovo Direct-to-Consumer assets.

Brian’s previous experiences also include leadership roles in live event ticketing industry, telecom, and cable.  He has been on the advisory board of several companies, including Valens Semiconductor – the leader in Home Audio & Automotive high speed data solutions (went public 2021) and Atom Nanoelectronics, a video chip manufacturer.

Brian graduated with distinction and earned his Masters of Public Policy Analysis and Administration with a focus on Statistics and Methods of Analysis from Binghamton University.  In addition, he earned his Bachelor of Art’s degree in Public Policy from State University of New York, where he was a member the Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society.
